The idea for Accel360 Hub didn’t start in a boardroom or with a big strategy document. It started with a quiet moment of clarity, after witnessing firsthand what the right kind of business training can do to a determined entrepreneur.

In 2023, one of our founding members participated in a six-week accelerator program organized by the Business Innovation Accelerator at Lagos Business School, fully sponsored by the Bank of Industry. Like many others, the application was submitted almost casually, another attempt to find opportunities to learn and grow as a small business owner. But what followed was anything but ordinary.

That program changed everything.

Inside those classrooms, surrounded by seasoned experts and fellow entrepreneurs from across the country, a new reality emerged, one where business wasn’t just about profit, but purpose. Where entrepreneurs weren’t just hustling to survive, but learning how to build systems, think long-term, attract funding, and become impact-driven leaders. Every hour spent in that accelerator revealed what was missing in many parts of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem: structure, access, and exposure.

But perhaps more importantly, it revealed what was possible.

When the training ended, it didn’t feel like the journey was complete, it felt like it had just begun. Because for every entrepreneur that got into that room, there were hundreds who never heard of the opportunity. There were thousands who were still navigating the maze of business growth alone, overwhelmed, under-resourced, and often misinformed.

Accel360 Hub was born from that realization.

It was created to bring high-quality business support closer to the ground, to the emerging founders, the overlooked business owners, the young creatives, the market disruptors tucked away in smaller cities, towns, and underserved communities across Nigeria.
